An expert-led, interactive workshop for parents who experience overwhelm, decision fatigue and stress when it comes to feeding your families

  • What: 30 minutes of networking with small bites and beverages; 60 minutes of discussion moderated by Sarah Harmon, with local panelists leading the conversation around parental support, food, and nutrition.

Moderator: Sarah Harmon, LMHC and Founder of Parent Wellness Group

Sarah is a licensed mental health therapist, mindfulness teacher, corporate wellness expert, mom, and the founder of Parent Wellness Group, a collective of seasoned clinicians supporting parents with individual, group and couples therapy, as well as parent coaching and educational events. Sarah is also the founder of The School of MOM.

 

Panelist: Maggie Mulvena Pearson, Founder of Feast & Fettle 

Maggie is a mom, recipe developer, author, and the founder of Feast & Fettle—the fastest-growing local meal delivery service in New England. As a former private chef and distinguished Johnson & Wales alumnus, her writing on food has been featured across many publications under Providence Media, and her first book, The Feast & Fettle Cookbook, is forthcoming in October 2024. Organized by seasoning method, it’s been hailed for its vibrant international influences as well as its demystification of good home cooking. Maggie resides in East Providence, RI with her husband and two sons.


Panelist: Sue-Ellen Anderson-Haynes, MS, RDN, CDCES, LDN, NASM-CPT, Founder & CEO of 360 Girls and Women 

Sue-Ellen is a registered and licensed dietician, a certified Diabetes care and education specialist, and a NASM women’s fitness certified personal trainer. She is an award winning and nationally recognized food, nutrition, and Diabetes expert. She is the leading global expert in Gestational Diabetes and the National Media Spokesperson for the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. She is also the founder of 360 Girls and Women, a holistic health and wellness company that provides nutritional support and education for girls and women at all stages of their life.

Panelist: Nicole Fox, CLC, RN at NAPS 

Nicole Fox is a Registered Nurse, Certified Lactation Consultant, former Registered Dietician and mom to 2 girls. Prior to working full-time at NAPS, she worked at Children's Hospital in Boston, first as a dietician for 10 years, then for an RN for about 6 years. Nicole works full-time for NAPS teaching prenatal education, offering in-home feeding consultations, running new mom support groups and in sleep consultations. She is sitting for her IBCLC exam in the Fall and is an expert in feeding from breastfeeding to navigating formula.

This is a free event with a suggested donation of $25 to the Women’s Lunch Place in Boston, a women’s day shelter providing safety and healthy lunches for women experiencing hunger, homelessness and poverty. Just $500 will provide a day of healthy lunches for all guests.
